No Hate On My Plate – Community Dinner 5/13

Join your Nashville community for No Hate on My Plate – Community Meal & Discussion, a program under the Humans Over Hate initiative, designed to bring people from all backgrounds together over a shared meal and meaningful conversation. This event will be held on Thursday, May 13th at the Nashville Food Project from 5:30-7:30pm.

No Hate on My Plate (NHoMP) aims to foster connection and understanding through shared experiences and gather insights on hate, injustice, bias, and discrimination to help implement community-driven solutions. This event kicks off a 6-month pilot program where meals will be hosted across the city, testing the program’s impact and informing future funding efforts.
You can get involved by either attending the meal and taking part in the conversation or you can play a part in making it happen! You can provide a space for a meal (15-40 people), sponsor or donate food, get trained as a meal facilitator, or volunteer to help coordinate an event. Get ready to break bread, share stories, and build a more just and inclusive community—one meal at a time!
