It’s not hard to appreciate a cold craft beer or good session of yoga, but who says you can’t enjoy them at the same time? The Beer Yogis are turning breweries into yoga studios and revolutionizing the way people think not only about yoga, but beer as well.

Instructors Mikki Trowbridge and Melissa Klimo-Major crossed paths and joined together in their loves for yoga and craft beer, and the Beer Yogis were born. They run the program with the message “united by yoga and beer,” an idea that gets people pulling out their yoga mats and heading to their nearest taproom.

They go from brewery to brewery inviting local yoga enthusiasts and beer drinkers to have a good time and connect with each other. Currently, the Beer Yogis are in the middle of a month-long road trip across America where they will visit twenty-three cities over 6,000 miles, setting up in local breweries and exploring the cultures of each.

Just recently, Mikki and Melissa set up here in Nashville at the Tennessee Brew Works Taproom. After about an hour of hot yoga, giving people the chance to reconnect with themselves, folks joined together to kick back a pint of craft beer and connect with each other.
