How does Eat Green for Tennessee work?

ALL you have to do is go out to eat at one of the 25+ participating restaurants in Nashville, Chattanooga, Franklin or Sewanee on WEDNESDAY, SEPT 13, 2017. Because that restaurant signed up to participate, they pledged to donate a percentage of your check to The Land Trust for Tennessee for this one special day. [If your bill is $60 and the restaurant pledged 20% of food sales for the day... $12 will go to us!] The more people you bring, the more you eat... more is donated to help us protect local farms and beautiful open space in Tennessee.

Why do these restaurants want to share their profits with us?

They care about food and where it comes from. They know local produce is healthier and better for our local economy. They think The Land Trust is great, because we help keep the “farm” in “farm to table” by protecting Tennessee farmland. We encourage all of our supporters to eat out with these community-minded restaurants... not just on September 13, 2017... but every day. We support each other.

Participant restaurants in Nashville include Green Hills Grille, Miel, Capitol Grille, Puckett's, Old School Farm to Table and many more !

Your happy belly + your fun night with family & friends = SAVING LAND + supporting local businesses that care.

Win. win. WIN.
