Chef Brian Riggenbach is the new executive chef of the yet to open The Mockingbird Nashville. Chef Maneet Chauhan and the team behind Chauhan Ale & Masala House have tapped culinary duo Brian Riggenbach (executive chef/partner and Chopped winner) and his husband Mikey Corona (front of house extraordinaire/partner), known for the Yo Soy Underground Supper Club in Chicago, to spearhead and become her 'Partners in Dine' for their new modern, elevated diner concept called The Mockingbird Nashville. As a mockingbird mimics its surroundings, the menu will draw inspiration from that of a classic diner, featuring comfort foods creatively executed with a unique global spin. While the restaurant will remain casual and relaxed, reminiscent of an American diner, the dishes will be carefully crafted and artfully presented. The beverage program will feature playful punches as well as frozen cocktails and adult milkshakes as a nod to the past but with a present palate. The Mockingbird is one of two new concepts from Chauhan and her team set to open this Spring.
