Yummy calzone at Caffe Nonna.

If you want pizza or pasta for dinner, just take one look at Cafe Nonna's instagram (@dannymaggipinto) done by the owner, Danny Maggipinto, and you'll know where you'll be eating that night. Each dish looks better than the next. The pizzas change daily based on the season. as do the Italian specials. Caffe Nonna is celebrating 18 years in Nashville. The recipes are made from scratch and inspired by the chef's grandmother, Nonna. Like mussels? You can order them prepared in four ways from a saffron-tomato broth to a roasted garlic-herb butter broth.  Or get the wood-fired pizza, some of the best in town. The restaurant is small, cozy and warm, and perfect for settling in with a glass of red wine. Or choose the patio with covered outdoor seating amongst twinkling lights. Caffe Nonna is a hidden gem on Murphy road in the heart of Sylvan Park. Shhhh. Don't tell everyone.
