Zesty Grilled Steak with Honey Mustard Sauce

Here is a great recipe for the fourth of July from our friends at Kamado Joe.  They know a thing or two about grilling. Check out our Edible Nashville Kamado Joe Jr. grill giveaway, active until July 5, 8am, 2017.

 

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cupfine sea salt
    • 2 1/2 Tbsfreshly ground black pepper
    • 2 tsponion powder
    • 2 tspgranulated garlic
    • 2 tsppaprika
    • 1/2 tspcayenne pepper
    • 1/2 cuphoney
    • 1/4 cupdijon mustard
    • 1/4 cupwhole grain stone ground mustard
    • 1 tspsoy sauce
    • 1 Tbsdried tarragon
    • 1Tbsfreshly minced ginger root

    For the Rub: 

    Combine sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, granulated garlic, paprika (optional but recommended) and cayenne pepper. 

    For the Honey Mustard Sauce:

    Combine the honey, dijon mustard, whole grain stone ground mustard, soy sauce, dried tarragon (2 Tbs if using fresh tarragon) and freshly minced ginger. Mix well. Refrigerate. 

    Rub steak with salt mixture. Let stand 30 minutes. Grill according to deisred degree of doneness. Serve with honey mustard.
