St. Agatha

Martini & Rosso Bianco Vermouth is celebrating its 110th anniversary on October 26th. To celebrate, The Fox Bar and Cocktail Club‘s own Will Benedetto created his own spin on a traditional vermouth cocktail recipe to showcase Martini & Rossi Bianco’s distinct flavor. Will’s St. Agatha finds a depth of flavor and texture through its simplicity. A tribute to St. Agatha’s Silican home, the fragrant orange zest and rich acidity of the apple cider vinegar compliment the subtle notes of herbs and citrus fruit that define the Martini & Rossi Bianco vermouth, while poppy prosecco offers effervesce and texture.

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2ounces Martini Bianco Vermouth
    • 1/8ounce apple cider vinegar
    • 2drops saline
    • 1 1/2ounces Martini Prosecco
    • 1orange peel
    • 1chrysanthemum, for garnish

    Preparation

    1.  In mixing glass, stir Martini Bianco, apple cider vinegar, and saline with ice. Strain into chilled glass.

    2.  Top with prosecco.

    3.  Garnish with chrysanthemum and express the oils of orange peel over top. Discard peel.
