Parisian Coffee Cake

Recipe from J.M Thomason Purveyors of Groumet Seasoning and Spices

    Ingredients

    • 3/4 cupbutter
    • 1 1/2 cupsregular sugar
    • 1/4 cupbrown sugar
    • 3large eggs
    • 2 teaspoonsalmond extract
    • 2 1/2 teaspoonsbaking powder
    • 1 teaspoonsalt
    • 3 3/4 cupsflour
    • 3/4 cupsour cream
    • 1 1/4 cupswhole milk
    • 1/2 cupbrown sugar
    • 1/4 cupParisian Spice Blend
    • 1 cupsugar
    • 1 1/2 cupsflour
    • 1/4 teaspoonsalt
    • 2 tablespoonsParisian Spice Blend
    • 6 tablespoonsmelted butter

    1. Preheat oven to 375F. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Add dy ingredients and add butter mixture alternately with sour cream and milk. Pour half of batter into greased 9-inch springform pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and Parisian spice blend. Top with remaining batter. 

    2. Combine topping ingredients and blend until streusel forms. Sprinkle streusel over batter. Bake 45 minutes or until well done. Cool. Remove from pan.
