End of Summer Cucumber Basil Smash

Use Hendrick’s or one of our local gins (HCDistillery, Corsair) to create this innovative cocktail. Consider also muddling seasonal berries for a flavorful variation.

Ingredients

1.5 partsHendrick’s Gin

.75 partfresh lemon juice

.75 partsimple syrup (or Eli Mason’s Rich Simple Syrup)

1small bunch of basil (3-5 leaves)

3-5cucumber wheels

Preparation

In a mixing glass, muddle basil, cucumber, and simple syrup. Add Hendrick’s Gin, lemon juice, and ice. Shake well and fine strain into an iced double rocks glass. Garnish with a bunch of basil and a cucumber wheel.
