GardenStyle | Basil & Bergamot Flower Farm Tour
Summer is here and we want to make sure your garden is bursting with blooms. We'll be talking summer flowers and how to make the best of the season in your yard with the lovely Basil & Bergamot Flower Farm!
As part of a new series titled GardenStyle, Cotton & Moss is collaborating with farmers & gardeners throughout Tennessee to provide more opportunities for learning and connection. Each season we will be selecting a favorite farm or garden to offer a one hour experience that will shed light on preparation, issues, and defenses in the garden.
For our next event, we are heading to the charming landscape of Basil & Bergamot's Flower Farm. Situated on 10 acres they grow a variety of seasonal flowers and the best part is they focus on sustainable & organic growing methods. Emily Daniels started Basil & Bergamot in 2016, with thegoal of creating a biodynamic farm that protects and enriches the environment around them. They have grown to include multiple hoop houses, fields, and even an adorable llama on site! This will be one of the first times they have opened up their farm to the public so join us for an amazing day of learning, lemonade, & flowers of course.
Emily will be showing us around and we'll be talking about the best flowers to grow in your yard plus pest management techniques to use at the height of summer. If you love flowers then you will not want to miss this special event!
Participants will:
-Take in a beautiful landscape and gather insight for their own summer flower gardens.
-Receive a worksheet of Emily's favorite garden goods & seasonal tips.
-Cut flowers available for sale at the end of the tour.

Maybe you have been gardening for years or maybe you are just learning the ropes, either is fine. If you are eager to get started and learn then we want to share our knowledge and experiences. ALL ARE WELCOME, NO PREVIOUS GARDENING OR FARMING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.
Come prepared to walk in various outdoor and indoor settings. Comfortable clothes and water are recommended. Feel free to come prepared with any questions as well.
