New Bars and Restaurants

While we may be in the middle of a pandemic, new restaurants are opening albeit a bit slower than usual. Here's what's new and what's coming up. 

BRAND NEW

Geist Bar + Restaurant  @geistnashville
One of Germantown's favorite neighborhood restaurants is BACK starting December 11th. Rebuilt, brick by brick, after March's tornado, Geist will re-open with renewed spirit and exciting additions, like a louvered roofing structure over their champagne garden for outdoor dining. Welcome back!

The Study at the Register  @thestudynash
The Study opened this November on the first floor of The Register. While The Register might be a private club for residents, The Study is open to the public, boasting an upscale experience set in a 1930s restoration with a molecular craft beverage program by Liquid Lab, a rare wine list, a designer ice program, and a menu of elevated bar fare.

Culture + Co  @_cultureandco_
An interactive dining experience highlighting cheese and charcuterie from artisanal and small batch makers served via conveyor belt in the middle of L+L Market. Culture + Co also offers off-belt entrees, desserts, craft beer, and a wine list focused on natural, sustainable, and biodynamic wines. 

Hester Nashville  @hester.nashville
We don't know too much about this new pop up, but from the little that their Instagram gives away, we're all about to be jumping for reservations. Innovative dishes look to be in the same wildly creative vein as Bastion and The Catbird Seat. So far, Hester has had one pop-up for pre-order and pick-up at Charlotte Ave's own Hathorne on December 6th, but we're anxious for more!

Roze Pony  @therozepony
Julia Jaksic, owner of the beloved Café Roze is East Nashville, has brought a second restaurant to Belle Meade. Featuring an all-day market, dine-in service, and grab-and-go, Julia's menu will characteristically feature seasonal dishes that are simple and approachable and will focus on produce and proteins through local partnerships. 

Roberta's at Urban Cowboy Public House  @urbancowboypublichouse
Urban Cowboy has partnered with Brooklyn restaurant Roberta's to bring a little New York to Tennessee from November 19th - January 31st, serving a selection of  signature wood-fired pizzas and fresh salads from 4 - 11 pm. Seasonal cocktails will also be available like the Cowboy's Hot Toddy topped with whipped cream and grated nutmeg. 

Yolan  @yolannashville
Now open within The Joseph in Downtown, Yolan offers fine Italian cuisine by Michelin-starred Chef Tony Mantuano. Beautiful plates of perfectly prepared dishes accent the beautiful decor. Choose from a la carte or tasting menu options. 

UP NEXT

Le Loup  @leloupnash
This fall, The Optimist in Germantown will gain an upstairs neighbor and sister establishment - Le Loup. This vintage-inspired craft cocktail bar plans to boast a list of more than 50 craft cocktails with a smaller menu of elevated snacks.

E G & MC  @e_g_m_c
Slim & Husky's co-owners E.J. Reed, Gemaal Pratts, Derrick 'Mo' Moore, and Clint Gray will open a new cocktail bar in North Nashville in the coming months, boasting tapas-style southern flavors with a modern edge. The interesting name stands for not only the owners' initials, but also "educated, gifted, melanated creatives."
