Wedding Food

Sebastian Mut and bride Mckayla share a kiss over cake

For Sound Engineer Sebastian Mut and his bride, Mckayla, a sales coordinator for The Cordelle, the food was of the utmost importance. As serious food fans, the couple regularly dines out and makes food a priority when they travel together (which is quite often, given Seb’s job).

Their favorite cuisine? All things Asian. “The second date we had was to ramen! It’s always been a big part of getting to know each other and sharing in our mutual love of Asian food,” said Mckayla. “Our wedding food was a bit of an ode to our dream of eventually honeymooning in Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong. After including the ramen bowls, we also added some other Asian-inspired items here and there, like shaved chicken banh mi, miso hummus, and a wonton pork taco.”

To finish out the eventing, the couple opted for little tea pies for their guests in three flavors: chocolate fudge, white chocolate bourbon, and apple crumble. But for themselves and their wedding party, a 6″ apple spice cake with white buttercream by Franklin’s Ivey Cake was the perfect finale for their November wedding.
