Cool Springs is not known for its inventive restaurants, being home to the Red Lobster, Outback, Chili’s and TGI Fridays. So when we ventured into the newly opened Honeysuckle we were gobsmacked. From the exterior to every nook and cranny on the interior, it’s a homerun. Owner Kelly Black, also owner of The Row, and Pie in the Sky Pizza, has spared no expense or smarts. His eye for authentic and hometown Tennessee goods is impeccable. Old salvaged barn wood forms the trim and much of the woodwork and tables.
