Most of us have taken buses, trains, and subways while travelling abroad or on vacation, yet we barely know where the bus station is in our own town. Such is the case with many Nasvhillians. As a result, we teamed up with WeGo (the newly branded MTA) for a “progressive dinner” on the bus. On Thursday, October 4, 55 Edible readers met at the WeGo bus station at 4:30 (Music City Central, 400 Charlotte Avenue), boarded the bus for a moveable feast down Charlotte Pike. We stopped at AVO, Miel, EiO & Hive, Farm Burger and MLRose for a night on the town. Folks, young and old, from all walks of life and parts of town rubbed elbows with each other and the regular bus riders for an interesting ride down Charlotte Avenue. Equipped with lanyards (with the route and stops) and the menus in hand, guests departed for special offerings at each of the stops.
