Like so many Nashvillians, Tracy Page started in the music biz, now she’s strumming a different kind of guitar.
There’s nothing like the smell of popcorn and chocolate in the morning. There’s not many places in Nashville where you will find the two, with the exception of the Nashville Chocolate and Nut Company, owned and operated by Master Chocolatier, Tracy Page.
Within moments of sitting down with Tracy, she pops up and starts looking over her nearest truffle selection, grabs one, and brings it to me. White Chocolate with a Red Velvet filling, French Toast Truffle... the selection goes on and on.
Tracy Page came to Nashville as a singer/songwriter, and after enjoying some success in the music biz, she was ready to follow another passion–unique chocolate and nut blends. Although she left the music biz behind, it influences most everything she creates. Her original Nut Mixes, (such as “Nuts about Nashville” and “Music City Munchies”) for example, are a direct result. Country music blues led to blueberries in the mix. And the corn nuts, well... you get it. Working with animals (as you often do) inspired “Monkey Krunch.”
No matter what, Nashville is the backbone of her one-of-a-kind treats, which is evident in her Signature Artisan Chocolate Guitars. Yes, the Music City Macaroons fly off the shelves, but but her Signature Acoustic and Electric Guitars and Guitar Cookies with Chocolate Whiskey Chips (used in the artist swag bags by the CMA, CMT and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame) are where her creativity really shines. Tracy “touches” every aspect of her creations. She makes and molds every chocolate herself in her kitchen on Charlotte Pike. Belgian chocolate (less sweet, more balanced), real butter, fresh cream, hand painted truffles. Great chocolate is a luxurious treat, and she wants you to feel that personal touch . . . From flavor conception to design to presentation, no guitar is the same. Most recently, she launched her one of a kind Nashville Hot Chicken Crackers, and we bet they’ll be a hit too.
