Combine two classic favorites (s'mores and a milkshake)––instant hit! We love this recipe from Katie Jacobs, nostalgic of sumer campfires without any of that "smoke follows beauty" nonsense!

Ingredients

SERVINGS: 2 Milkshakes
  • 1 (10–ounce) bag large marshmallows, toasted
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (1 pint) good vanilla ice cream
  • Optional assorted toppings: whipped cream, toasted marshmallows, chocolate, graham cracker crumbs, chocolate syrup

Instructions

1. Chill the milkshake glass by placing it in the freezer.

2. Place marshmallows in a baking sheet and broil in the oven on high for 2 minutes, or until golden brown.  Reserve 3 toasted marshmallows for topping the shakes.

3. Transfer the broiled marshmallows into a blender, and add the milk. Blend until the ingredients are well mixed. Pause the blender to add the vanilla and ice cream to the marshmallow mixture, and blend until thick and smooth.

4. Pour the milkshake into the chilled glass, and finish with a dollop of fresh whipped cream, toasted marshmallows, and assorted toppings.
