Simple Arugula Salad

Balsamic reduction is a staple ingredient in my kitchen. The chocolate-syrup-look-alike imparts magic to almost any dish; I use it in someway nearly everyday. Top pizza with balsamic reduction, and other toppings suddenly have more "punch". Finish roasted brussels sprouts with a little dribble the last 10 minutes of roasting, and they caramelize right up. Swirl it with fresh strawberries and you've got an effortless dessert, or simply drizzle over peppery arugula for my favorite undemanding side salad.
