Benton's bacon and Dozen's baguette are a match made in heaven. And the Blueberry Galette is well transcendental. (shown here the BLT with the gazpacho).

Some of the best food in town changes with the season. As a result, it won't be on menus for long. Here is our round-up of good eats for this week. Get'em while you can.

Caught in a pickle is as fun to drink as it is to order.

Rolf & Daughters, Germantown

"Caught in a Pickle" made with Aquavit, carpano bianco, beet shrub, dill and lime-- healthy, delicious and rerfreshing. Beet shrub . . . ohh yeah.

Sweet corn agnolotti, jalapeno, pecorino, lime--little sweet-ish corn pasta logs in a light sauce with crisp bites of jalapeno. Corn will be gone soon. Run, don't walk for this one.

@rolfanddaughters

Blueberry Galette.

Dozen Bakery, Wedgewood-Houston

Blueberry Galette. So good and buttery (made with Plugra butter, I asked) that we got a slice for there and another to-go. BLT on a baguette--Bentons bacon, marinated tomatoes, basil aioli on the best baguette in town.

@dozenbakerynashville

Pastime, Sulphur Dell, around the corner from the Sounds stadium.

Sulphur Dell Hot Chicken. Some of the best in town. Seriously.

@pastimenashville

Epice, 12th South-- a quiet respite in the 12th South hustle and bustle.

Lahmajin--lamb in fresh grilled pita with salad. Divine.
