These buttery short cookies are heaven.

In the Spring of 2012 Megan Driscoll opened a pastry shop in Los Angeles, Ca. Amongst the long list of confections, their shortbread was a standout.  When life brought Megan and family to Nashville, they packed up the shop and brought their passion for butter cookies with them.

Their philosophy is simple: things don’t have to be busy or complicated to be good. Their shortbread is made in small batches using only a handful of fresh, all-natural ingredients. They roll, cut, and decorate each batch by hand, resulting in a deliciously buttery melt-in-your-mouth cookie with the perfect hint of salt.

They delivered a box of goodies to us a few months ago. And indeed, this is some of the best shortbread we've ever had. Fights broke out in the office for the last shortbread cookie.

You can find their cookies at The Produce Place, Green Door Gourmet and The Turnip Truck. But best get there before we do.
