Charles Hunter of The Salted Table at an event at Bloomsbury Farm.

Charles Hunter lll, from Oak Ridge, TN, has loved cooking since he was a child. He speaks of spending time with his sister, grand and great grandmother in kitchen as an influence from when he was younger. He now lives in Nashville, TN with his wife and dog.

He studied at the Rel Maples Institute of Culinary Arts in Sevierville, TN, majoring in Culinary Arts and Business Management; loving his time in culinary school and reinforcing his love for cooking. While he's worked for many years in the industry, in many different genres of cooking, his preferred style is a rustic southern comfort with some french influence.

Charles writes for the food blog The Salted Table: An Online Journal About Food, Life, & Local. This is a place for Charles to share recipes he's developed, thoughts on food and life, and living in Nashville. This is a place where great personality shows through just as much as great recipes.

Through The Salted Table, Charles operates an in-home catering experience. Believing that the best meals are the meals made in your own home, he brings his delicious fresh ingredients and recipes to you and your event. Click here for more information about this unique experience.

Charles Hunter lll will be the Edible Kitchen Chef Saturday October 1st at the Nashville Farmers Market, check out his recipe here
